Product Description

Unlike the micro trim version, the XPC-6SQ-NT has no visible bezel, so the grille reads as a continuous plane with the surrounding drywall once painted. The finish is the same Brilliant White (Satin), RAL standardized so it matches other Sonance grilles and ceiling paint rather than reading as a mismatched white. Retention is handled by the XPC (Extreme Post-Capture) magnetic system, which locks the grille to the speaker with enough holding force to resist wind loading and the shear from power washing on covered outdoor installs. Because the trimless design removes the frame that normally hides small drywall imperfections, installers typically plan for a tighter cutout and finished paint edge before mounting.
