The Visix Choros annual subscription per workspace provides the per-seat software license required to enable QR code space booking for individual workstations, hot-desks, and shared workspaces within the Choros platform. Each license activates one workspace in the Choros cloud-based admin environment, allowing employees to scan a QR code with any iOS or Android smartphone to view desk availability, make a reservation, or release a desk early — with no app download required. This annual workspace subscription supports flexible workplace strategies including hot-desking, office hoteling, and shared workstation programs. It is priced separately from the Meeting Room license (VX-A-LMR) to allow organizations to right-size their licensing by space type.

Product Description

Visix Choros is a patent-pending WebAR QR code space booking platform that enables contactless, BYOD desk and workspace reservations without hardware room signs, on-premise servers, or app installations. The Per Workspace annual subscription activates a single desk or workstation within your Choros cloud deployment, enabling the full booking workflow for that space. Once a workspace is configured in the cloud dashboard, Choros generates a unique QR code that can be printed and placed at the desk or workstation. Employees scan the code with their phone camera to see availability status, current and upcoming reservations, and listed amenities such as standing desk, dual monitors, or docking station options.

The Choros admin platform lets facilities managers define each workspace by location, floor, building, and organizational unit, and mark accessible workstations accordingly. Bookings integrate bidirectionally with Microsoft Office 365 and CollegeNET 25Live calendar systems to prevent scheduling conflicts. Because Choros is 100% cloud-hosted, there is no server infrastructure to install or maintain. This per-workspace license is required for each individual desk or workstation enabled in the system. The One-Time Cloud Setup Fee (SKU: VX-A-CLD) is required separately for initial Choros cloud provisioning. Organizations managing meeting rooms should purchase Per Meeting Room licenses (VX-A-LMR); other space types such as lockers or parking spaces are covered under the Per Space Type Other subscription (VX-A-LOH).
