Product Description
Visix Choros is a patent-pending WebAR QR code space booking platform that replaces traditional room signs with a fully contactless, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) booking experience. The Per Meeting Room annual subscription activates one conference room or meeting space within your Choros cloud environment, enabling the full suite of room scheduling features for that space. Once configured in the cloud dashboard, Choros generates a unique QR code for the room. Staff simply point their smartphone camera at the QR code to access real-time availability, view the daily schedule, check room amenities and capacity, and make or cancel reservations — all without logging into a portal or downloading any software.
The Choros platform integrates directly with Microsoft Office 365 and CollegeNET 25Live calendaring systems, so bookings made via QR scan instantly reflect in your organization's calendar — and calendar-based bookings appear in the Choros interface — eliminating double bookings. The cloud-hosted admin dashboard lets facility managers define room details including AV resources, capacity, and accessibility status. Because the system is 100% cloud-based, there is no on-premise server to maintain. This per-room annual license is required for every meeting room added to a Choros deployment. The One-Time Cloud Setup Fee (SKU: VX-A-CLD) is required separately for initial system provisioning. Additional space types — such as hotdesks, lockers, and parking — are licensed under separate workspace or "other space" subscription SKUs.
