Product Overview
The ViewSonic LDS138-151 is a 138-inch foldable mobile direct view LED display engineered for organizations that require large-format, high-impact visuals without a permanent installation. Mounted on 360-degree silent caster wheels with a motorized height-adjustable stand, this commercial-grade direct view LED display deploys in minutes — unfold, connect a standard 20-amp outlet, and the display is operational. Its Glue-on-Board (GOB) LED surface treatment delivers IP54 dust and moisture resistance and IK06 impact protection, making it suitable for high-traffic trade show floors, touring events, pop-up activations, and multi-room enterprise deployments requiring a reusable large-format solution.
Product Description
Unlike wall-mounted or fixed LED displays, the LDS138-151 arrives pre-assembled in a durable custom flight case for protected transport between venues. The foldable hinge design allows the display to fit into most standard elevators, enabling multi-floor deployment within buildings without disassembly. When fully extended on the motorized stand, the display reaches a maximum height of 8.5 feet from floor to top edge, accommodating a variety of room layouts and sightline requirements. Minimum height from floor to the bottom of the display is 8.6 inches, allowing the screen to be positioned near floor level for immersive presentations.
The LDS138-151 delivers Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution at a 1.588 mm pixel pitch with 600 nits brightness, a 120% Rec. 709 wide color gamut, a 3,840 Hz refresh rate, and a 6,500:1 static contrast ratio. Onboard Android 9.0 (RK3399 CPU, 4 GB DDR4, 32 GB storage) enables standalone media playback without an external player. The integrated control bar is built into the floor stand to keep the screen face unobstructed, with a front-facing HDMI 2.0 input for quick source connections. Sloped dual 30W speakers direct audio toward the audience for enhanced clarity in open spaces. The display supports Picture-by-Picture (PBP) from up to four HDMI inputs and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) for simultaneous multi-source display. Remote management integrates with Q-SYS via a verified plugin and is compatible with Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems. LED modules are front-accessible and hot-swappable using the included vacuum maintenance tool. The LDS138-151 received a rAVe Publications Best New Mobile dvLED Product award at InfoComm 2025 and is rated for 100,000-hour LED lifetime with a 3-year limited warranty including on-site service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How quickly can the LDS138-151 be deployed at a venue?

Q: Does the display fit in a standard elevator?
A: Yes. The foldable hinge design reduces the physical depth to 780 mm, allowing the unit to fit into most standard commercial elevators for multi-floor deployment in hotels, convention centers, and office buildings.
Q: Is the LDS138-151 suitable for outdoor or semi-outdoor use?
A: The display carries an IP54 ingress protection rating on the front panel, providing resistance to dust ingress and water splash. It is designed for high-traffic indoor environments and protected semi-outdoor spaces, not for direct exposure to rain or sustained outdoor conditions.
Q: What AV control systems is the display compatible with?
A: The LDS138-151 integrates with the Q-SYS ecosystem via a Q-SYS Library Verified plugin and is compatible with Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems via RS232 and Ethernet interfaces.
