Product Description

The EP5542 is a non-touch portrait digital signage display engineered for unattended commercial operation. Unlike interactive flat panels designed for meeting rooms, the EP5542 is built as a floor-standing digital ePoster kiosk: the included stand positions the 55-inch panel vertically in portrait orientation, the integrated power supply eliminates the need for nearby outlets for add-on devices, and the lockable security door houses both the media player connections and an optional secondary media player cradle. The panel itself is a 55-inch IPS-type MVA display with 3840 x 2160 resolution, 178-degree viewing angles in both axes, and a dual-layer faceplate — an outer 4mm tempered glass layer (7H rated) over a 3H anti-glare film — providing impact protection and glare reduction for bright retail and lobby environments. The embedded Android-based quad-core SoC plays back video and image content from the 16GB internal eMMC storage or from USB drives, and an Ethernet LAN port supports remote management via the built-in RJ45 connection.
