The ViewSonic CB-00010958 converts Mini DisplayPort output (mDP) to full-size DisplayPort input with zero signal processing — a passive adapter cable delivering the full 21.6 Gbps HBR2 bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.2. At 1.8 m (6 ft), it provides enough slack for typical desktop and boardroom setups. Gold-plated mDP male and DP male connectors resist oxidation and maintain low contact resistance across thousands of connect cycles.
Supports DisplayPort 1.2 at 21.6 Gbps, 4K UHD @ 60 Hz, 1080p @ 144 Hz, MST daisy-chaining, and 8-channel audio. Backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.1 and Mini DP 1.1 sources. No driver, software, or external power needed.
Essential for connecting Apple Mac computers (Mini DP port), Microsoft Surface, Lenovo ThinkPad docking stations, and older MacBooks to full-size DP monitors. Compatible with all ViewSonic DisplayPort monitors and any standard DP 1.2 display.
