With plug and play capability - no software drivers needed, and supporting USB 3.1 over CAT 6a/7 cable, Vaddio's USB 3 Extenders offer extension of up to 328 feet. This 4-Port Point-to Point Extender System enables you to extend USB 3.1 beyond the standard 3m cable limit for USB 3.1 peripheral devices (like a camera or other AV source) is done by this extender system which is composed of two individual units, the Local Extender and the Remote Extender, and has the following features:
- Up to 328 ft (100 m) of extension when directly connected over CAT 6a/7 cable
- USB 3.1 Gen 1 data rate up to 5Gbps
- Supports up to four remote USB devices simultaneously at full bandwidth (5Gbps)
- True plug and play; no software drivers required
- Works with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™, Linux® and Chrome OS™
- 100/1000 Ethernet channel; LAN pass-through
