This active USB 3.0 A-B cable uses a built-in signal booster to extend USB 3.0 connections to 65.6 ft (20 m) while maintaining full USB 3.0 bandwidth. Suitable for connecting ceiling-mounted PTZ cameras and other USB 3.0 devices to computers or capture cards over long runs.
Description
Active USB cables incorporate a signal amplifier/repeater in the cable body to overcome the distance limitations of standard passive USB cables. This 65.6 ft (20 m) active USB 3.0 A-B cable carries full USB 3.0 bandwidth for PTZ camera or peripheral connections from ceiling or wall-mounted devices to a rack or AV equipment room. USB Type-A connects to the host computer or hub; USB Type-B connects to the camera or device.
