The RoboSHOT IW Smart Glass is a fully recessed in-wall PTZ camera with smart glass technology: the front panel is frosted opaque when the camera is powered off, and transitions to transparent when powered on — preserving privacy and delivering a clean architectural look. ADA compliant and designed for walls rather than ceilings.
Description
The RoboSHOT IW embeds the RoboSHOT camera platform into a drywall-mounted back-box with an architecturally refined front frame. When powered off, the smart glass front panel is opaque, providing visual privacy. When the camera activates, the panel clears, revealing the lens. This makes the RoboSHOT IW a natural fit for executive suites, board rooms, and rooms where standard ceiling cameras are not architecturally acceptable.
The camera provides 10x optical zoom with a 73° field of view at wide angle, delivered over HDBaseT for power, video, and control over a single structured cabling run. HD 1080p video quality and Vaddio's PTZ control platform are fully functional, with web-based remote management available over IP. Note: Due to regulatory approvals, the RoboSHOT IW Smart Glass is restricted to US and Canada only.
