Each input supports three-element microphone arrays, effectively processing up to 12 microphone channels with independent AEC and DSP. A second MicPOD I/O can be added to expand to 24 microphone channels total.

The EasyUSB MicPOD I/O is the interface tier between Vaddio SmartMIC technology and any third-party professional audio mixing system. SmartMIC microphones connect via 3-position phoenix-style connectors; each SmartMIC contains three cardioid condenser elements providing 360-degree pickup. The MicPOD I/O manages per-element gain, gating, AEC, equalization, and filtering internally — so the connected mixer receives a clean, pre-processed audio signal.

The four balanced line outputs connect via phoenix connectors to any professional mixer or DSP. The unit is rack-mountable or freestanding on rubber feet. An 18V power supply is included.
