Product Description

The EasyIP CeilingMIC D uses Dante networked audio to transport audio signals over the IP network, simplifying routing and eliminating the need for dedicated analog audio cabling runs. A single Cat-5e cable between the network switch PoE port and the microphone interface box delivers both power and audio over the network.

Each unit contains three unidirectional cardioid microphone elements in a pendant array head, each with integrated echo cancellation (AEC), equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC). The AEC reference is received from the far end by the DSP in the interface box and applied to individual elements, providing clear audio on both sides of a conference call. Dante Controller software (free from Audinate) manages microphone routing and network configuration. The pendant drop cable is 3 ft (0.9m) adjustable, extendable to 15 ft (4.6m) total from the interface box via a standard RJ45 connection.
