Product Overview
The Vaddio 999-9660-000 OneLINK Bridge Codec Kit connects Cisco Precision series cameras and Cisco Telepresence SX20, SX80, or C-Series codecs to USB-based soft-client conferencing platforms — without replacing existing infrastructure. It extends power, video, and control over a single Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable up to 328 ft (100m), adds USB 3.0 output for Zoom, Teams, and Webex compatibility, and includes a configurable audio matrix with AEC. The result is an existing Cisco codec system that can participate in modern cloud conferencing while retaining its traditional videoconferencing capabilities. Note: Additional Cisco CAB-PHD4XS2-SPLIT cable is required when connecting a Cisco Precision 40, PrecisionHD 1080p2.5x, or SX20 codec — user-supplied.
Product Description

As organizations transition from traditional hardware codec videoconferencing to cloud-based UCaaS platforms, many face the challenge of modernizing room systems without discarding working Cisco infrastructure. The 999-9660-000 codec kit directly addresses this by bridging existing Cisco codec systems and Precision series cameras into USB-based soft-client workflows.
The OneLINK Bridge interface accepts video and control from the Cisco Precision camera, routes it over HDBaseT to the AV rack, and outputs simultaneous HDMI, USB 3.0, and HD-SDI signals. USB 3.0 delivers an uncompressed HD stream directly to a room PC, making the camera visible to Zoom, Teams, Webex, and other soft clients as a standard USB webcam. The HDMI output continues to feed the Cisco codec for traditional codec-based calls. This dual-mode capability means one camera serves both legacy codec sessions and cloud conferencing calls without any equipment changes.
HDBaseT extension carries power, video, and control over a single Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable from the AV rack to the camera — decoupling camera placement from codec placement and enabling larger rooms to be served. The configurable audio matrix with AEC handles audio routing and echo cancellation for both hard-codec and soft-client call types. A browser-based web interface provides intuitive configuration and system administration from any networked device.
The kit includes all required cabling for Cisco Precision and SX20/SX80/C-Series connectivity, including directional Cat-5 cables, HDMI cables, and RS-232 control adapters. For similar integration with Vaddio RoboSHOT HDMI cameras and Cisco codecs, see 999-9670-000.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Cisco cameras does this kit support?
The 999-9660-000 is compatible with most Cisco Precision series cameras. Contact Creation Networks to confirm compatibility with your specific camera model before ordering.
Does my Cisco codec continue working after installing this kit?
Yes. The HDMI output continues to feed the Cisco codec for traditional codec-based video calls. USB 3.0 simultaneously enables soft-client connections to Zoom, Teams, and Webex from a room PC.
Is any additional cable required that is not in the box?
Yes — if connecting to a Cisco Precision 40, PrecisionHD 1080p2.5x camera, or Cisco SX20 codec, a Cisco CAB-PHD4XS2-SPLIT cable is required and must be sourced separately.
How far can the camera be from the rack?
Up to 230 ft (70m) over Cat-5e, or up to 328 ft (100m) over Cat-6, in a single cable run carrying power, video, and control.
