The Vaddio AutoVIEW IR Sensor Kit (999-1701-100) is a ceiling-mounted active IR sensor system that automatically triggers a camera preset when a person steps into the sensor’s detection zone. Compatible with the EasyIP Mixer, AV Bridge 2x1, AV Bridge MatrixMIX, AV Bridge MATRIX PRO, and the full line of ProductionVIEW camera control consoles. The kit includes the active IR sensor with acrylic lens cover, AutoVIEW IR Interface Controller, 18V power supply, and a 3 ft Cat-5 patch cable.

Product Description

The AutoVIEW IR Sensor automates camera control in lecture halls, courtrooms, and conference spaces by detecting a presenter’s entry into a defined zone and switching the camera to a pre-assigned PTZ preset. This eliminates the need for an operator to manually change camera angles when a presenter moves between zones — improving production quality in unmanned recording and broadcast scenarios.

Each sensor is housed in a metal enclosure designed for flush mounting in acoustic tile or sheetrock ceilings. The sensing zone is adjustable for precise control over each IR detection area. Multiple sensors can be deployed across a room, each assigned to a different camera preset, for multi-zone automatic switching.
