The pole extension projects the dome camera out from the wall surface and downward to a position that achieves proper room coverage, making this kit the correct choice for rooms with structural walls but no accessible ceiling void or plenum.
Product Description
Pendant dome cameras are designed to hang downward from a ceiling or extended structure, covering the room below. Where ceiling mounting is impractical, the 998-9300-001 attaches to a structural wall and uses a rigid pole extension to project the dome camera into open space at the correct height and position. This is the extension-pole variant of the pendant dome wall mount family; the companion base wall mount (998-9300-000) attaches directly to the wall without a pole extension for lower-ceiling environments. The 998-9300-001 is rated for both indoor and outdoor pendant dome enclosures, making it suitable for lobby, atrium, covered outdoor, and campus-facing camera deployments. All hardware for wall attachment and pole-to-enclosure connection is included.
