The smoke tint reduces visual prominence of the camera on the ceiling, providing a more discreet appearance in boardrooms, executive conference rooms, and upscale hospitality environments where visible camera hardware would detract from the room aesthetic.
Product Description
When a DomeVIEW camera is installed in a high-visibility ceiling in an executive suite, hotel ballroom, or boardroom, a clear dome can draw unwanted attention to the camera. The smoke-tinted 998-9000-220 dome reduces the visible contrast between the dome cover and surrounding ceiling finish, making the camera system far less conspicuous without impairing the camera’s ability to capture video — Vaddio’s PTZ optics and sensor performance remain effective through the tinted polycarbonate. The dome is an interchangeable component of the DomeVIEW enclosure system, allowing AV integrators to swap dome covers without replacing the full enclosure.
