The Vaddio 998-9000-210 Clear Dome Option is a replacement or alternate-spec clear dome cover for Vaddio RoboSHOT and HD-Series PTZ cameras installed in DomeVIEW pendant enclosures. The optically clear dome maximizes image quality by introducing no tint or light absorption, making it the preferred choice in rooms where camera performance takes priority over visual discretion.
Product Description
DomeVIEW pendant enclosures ship with a dome cover option selected at the time of system design. The 998-9000-210 allows integrators to specify a clear dome at initial installation or to replace a tinted dome in an existing installation when the end user requires maximum optical performance — for example, following a room renovation that increased ambient light levels, or when upgrading from an HD to a 4K camera body where the additional resolution makes dome optical quality a factor. The clear polycarbonate dome provides full optical transparency across the visible spectrum and does not affect the camera’s color balance or low-light performance. For installations where the camera should blend into a dark ceiling, the smoke-tinted equivalent is model 998-9000-220.
