The Vaddio 998-6000-002 Rack Panel accommodates up to three Vaddio Quick-Connect SR interface units within a single 1U position in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Designed for multi-camera installations where several Quick-Connect SR interfaces must be co-located in the AV head-end rack, this panel provides a high-density, organized mounting solution that replaces multiple single-unit panels with one efficient rack position.
Product Description
In conference rooms and classrooms with three cameras, there are typically three Quick-Connect SR interfaces in the equipment rack — one per camera. Mounting each on an individual rack panel consumes three 1U rack positions for just the interfaces. The 998-6000-002 consolidates all three into a single rack unit, preserving two additional 1U positions for amplifiers, DSPs, or other components and improving overall rack layout legibility. Each of the three interface positions within the panel maintains independent front-panel access and rear cable routing. The 998-6000-002 is specific to the Quick-Connect SR interface form factor; for Quick-Connect Box interfaces, use the 998-1105-002, and for two-interface layouts, see the 998-6000-003 1RU panel for two interfaces.
