Vaddio Quick-Connect and interface units are designed as half-rack-width components intended to be rack-mounted in pairs or singly with the appropriate hardware. This kit — part number 998-6000-004 — handles the single-unit case: one bracket secures the half-rack device to the left or right side of a 1U rack opening, and a blanking panel fills the remaining half-width to maintain rack face integrity. The installation result is a secure, professional-looking component within the rack that meets the same presentation standard as full-rack-width equipment. AV integrators commonly stock this kit when single Quick-Connect interfaces need to be racked independently in systems with an odd number of interface units.
