The USB-EXT-3 KIT extends these USB 3.2 signals over standard Cat5e or Cat6 at up to 100 meters — the same distance as the USB-EXT-2 KIT for USB 2.0, but with the bandwidth required for USB 3.x device performance. In Crestron Flex and custom UC conference room deployments using USB 3.x cameras or capture devices, the USB-EXT-3 KIT replaces the USB-EXT-2 KIT to provide adequate bandwidth for the higher-throughput USB devices at the table or presenter position. The local module connects to the UC compute module or PC in the AV rack; the remote module sits at the conference table or presenter wall position where the USB 3.x device connects.
