The 1RK-5RU-BASIC-KIT delivers the 5RU ONErack chassis and 6 mounting modules, with the power supply ordered separately. This configuration is chosen when an integrator wants to specify a PSU independently — particularly when upgrading directly to the 450W hot-swappable 1RK-5RU-PSU-2-HSWP rather than the standard 250W unit included with the 1RK-5RU-KIT. The 5RU chassis is the mid-size ONErack frame, offering one rack unit more interior space than the 4RU chassis. With a maximum of 16 module slots (expandable from the included 6 via additional rails and module units), the 5RU chassis can simultaneously power up to 64 DC devices. Each module slot supports 2 independent voltage selectors, each configurable to 5V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V, 13.5V, 18V, or 24V at up to 35W. Device mounting is universal — any DC-powered AV product from any manufacturer can be installed in an ONErack module slot. Optional accessories include the standard 250W PSU (1RK-5RU-PSU), the 450W hot-swappable PSU (1RK-5RU-PSU-2-HSWP), fan cover, metal cover, plexi cover, and cable management accessories.
