The tvONE 1T-CT-654A is the receiver unit in the tvONE HDBaseT 5Play extension system, designed to pair with the 1T-CT-653 transmitter for extending HDMI v1.4 signals up to 100 meters (325 feet) over a single Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable. It receives uncompressed 1080p/60Hz video, lossless audio, bidirectional IR, bidirectional RS-232, and Ethernet from the transmitter end, then outputs them locally at the display location. Power over HDBaseT (PoH) support allows the receiver to draw power directly from a PoH-capable transmitter, removing the requirement for local power at the remote end. Product Description
The 1T-CT-654A is installed at the display end of an HDBaseT cable run and receives all five signal types carried by the 5Play system from the paired 1T-CT-653 transmitter: uncompressed video, embedded audio, IR, RS-232, and Ethernet. The HDMI output reproduces the original source signal without compression at resolutions up to 1080p/60Hz with 36-bit color depth. HDMI v1.4 features including 4K UHD at 30Hz, HD 3D formats, and PC resolutions up to WUXGA are all supported. Lossless audio formats — LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio — are reproduced without degradation. Bidirectional IR allows a remote control at the display location to operate the source device, while bidirectional RS-232 enables control system commands to travel in both directions over the cable. The receiver's Ethernet port extends network connectivity to the display location. PoH support means local power wiring at the display end is optional when connected to a PoH transmitter such as the 1T-CT-653. HDCP 1.1 compliance and CEC bypass are standard. DVI output is possible using an optional HDMI-to-DVI adapter. The unit is compatible with tvONE CORIOmax HDBaseT output modules, supporting deployment within a tvONE matrix switching environment.
