Product Description
The 1T-FC-766 is designed for environments where HDMI-based sources — such as laptops, Blu-ray players, media servers, or computers — must feed into an SDI-based monitoring or distribution infrastructure. It accepts HDMI input and converts it to dual simultaneous 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs, allowing the HDMI source to drive two SDI monitors, an SDI router, or a broadcast distribution amplifier at the same time. Supported input timings include 480i, 576i, 720p 50/60Hz, 1080p 24/25/30Hz, 1080i 50/60Hz, and 1080p 50/60Hz, covering standard broadcast and computer output formats. Output SDI bit rates are automatically selected to match the input: 2.970 Gbps and 2.970/1.001 Gbps for 3G, 1.485 Gbps and 1.485/1.001 Gbps for HD, and 270 Mbps for SD. Auto video mode detection (SD/HD/3G) eliminates the need for manual configuration when the source changes resolution. Audio embedding integrates up to 8 channels PCM at 48 kHz from an HDMI source, or 2 channels from a DVI audio source, into the SDI output stream. The unit is HDCP compliant, with the caveat that HDCP-protected sources may produce no output on SDI depending on content rights management. Signal transmission distances on the SDI output support up to 300 meters for SD, 200 meters for HD, and 100 meters for 3G signals. A locking +5VDC DC connector is included on the power input to prevent accidental disconnection.
