The tvONE 1T-CT-642 is the receiver unit in tvONE's HDBaseT-Lite HDMI extension system, designed to be paired with either the 1T-CT-641 point-to-point transmitter or the 1T-CT-647 seven-port transmitter for multi-display deployments. It receives uncompressed HDMI v1.4 signals over a single Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable from distances up to 60 meters (197 feet) and outputs them to a local display. The unit supports 1080p/60Hz with 36-bit deep color, 4K UHD at 30Hz, HD 3D formats, and lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Bidirectional IR extension enables source control at the display end, and a locking DC power connector prevents accidental power loss.
Product Description
The 1T-CT-642 installs at the display end of an HDBaseT-Lite cable run and decodes the HDMI signal received from a paired 1T-CT-641 transmitter or 1T-CT-647 seven-port transmitter hub. Using HDBaseT-Lite (Class B) technology, it recovers the full uncompressed HDMI v1.4 signal from the Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable and outputs it to the connected display via HDMI. This makes it suitable for both point-to-point extension (one source to one display) and multi-point distribution (one source to up to seven displays using the 1T-CT-647 transmitter). Supported video formats include 1080p at 60Hz with 36-bit deep color, 4K UHD at 24Hz and 30Hz, HD 3D content, and PC resolutions to WUXGA. Embedded lossless audio — LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio — is decoded and output on the HDMI connection without loss. DVI displays can be connected using an HDMI-to-DVI adapter. Bidirectional IR allows end users to control the source device using a standard IR remote from the display location. HDCP 1.1 and CEC bypass ensure compatibility with protected content and display automation. The locking screw-on DC power connector is designed to prevent accidental power interruption in permanently installed systems. Standard Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable with RJ45 connectors is used for the incoming HDBaseT connection.
