The module supports the complete SDI format range from SD (526/625 lines) through HD to 3G-SDI at 1080p60, with embedded audio at 48 kHz / 24-bit. The CM-3GSDI-X-2IN is the two-port variant; the CM-3GSDI-X-4IN provides four ports for higher-density SDI input requirements.
Product Description
The CM-3GSDI-X-2IN installs into a CORIOmatrix input slot, adding two SDI sources to the routing fabric. Each BNC input accepts 3G-SDI at 1080p 60/59.94 Hz per SMPTE 424M-A at 2.97/2.967 Gbps with jitter below 0.3 UI. HD-SDI is handled per SMPTE 292M at 1.485/1.4835 Gbps with jitter below 0.2 UI, supporting 720p, 1035i, 1080i, and 1080p. SD-SDI is supported per SMPTE 259M-C at 270 Mbps with jitter below 0.1 UI for 526/625-line sources. Color format is SDI 4:2:2 with 20-bit color depth. Supported resolutions include 720x487i (59.94 Hz), 720x576i (50 Hz), 1280x720p, 1920x1080i, and 1920x1080p at standard frame rates up to 60 Hz. Embedded audio is supported at 48 kHz, 24-bit, with one stereo pair per input. The module is managed through the CORIOmatrix standard control interface. The CORIOmatrix chassis is sold separately. For equivalent two-port SDI input for CORIOmaster chassis, use the CM-3GSDI-2IN.
