Product Description

The RS-1215-RA distributes 120V, 15-amp AC power to up to 12 pieces of equipment from a single 1U panel position. The 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets are divided between 6 on the front face and 6 on the rear face, providing access from both sides of the unit—an arrangement that simplifies cable management in racks where equipment connects from both the front and back of the enclosure.

The right-angle outlet orientation places the ground pin at the bottom of each receptacle, which allows plugged-in cords to exit horizontally rather than perpendicular to the strip. This reduces the plug clearance depth required in tight rack and cabinet spaces and prevents cords from blocking adjacent equipment or impeding airflow.
