Product Description

The P130-000-AUDIO takes an incoming HDMI signal and splits it into two outputs: a full HDMI video-plus-audio signal passed through to a connected display, and a separated audio signal sent to one or more of the three audio output connectors. This allows a single HDMI source—such as a Blu-ray player, streaming device, gaming console, or media server—to simultaneously feed both a display and a dedicated audio system without requiring the audio receiver or amplifier to support HDMI connectivity.

The unit supports two-channel stereo audio as well as multi-channel audio up to 5.1 surround sound. Both uncompressed audio formats (LPCM) and compressed formats including DTS and Dolby Digital are handled. Three audio output options are available on a single unit: a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack for standard analog connections, a TOSLINK digital optical output for premium digital audio systems, and an RCA coaxial digital output for receivers that accept S/PDIF digital coaxial input. All three output connectors are available simultaneously, providing flexibility in connecting to different audio equipment.

On the video side, the P130-000-AUDIO passes Ultra HD resolution up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 30 Hz through the HDMI output. It supports 24-bit True Color (8 bits per channel) at 4K resolution, 36-bit Deep Color (12 bits per channel) at 1080p, and optional 3D content formats at 50/60 Hz. The unit is HDCP compatible. An LED indicator confirms power status, active signal transmission, and 5.1-channel surround sound detection. The included power supply comes with international plug adapters for North America, Europe, the U.K., and Australia.
