The B024-DPU08 connects up to eight computers or DisplayPort-enabled devices — including desktop and notebook computers, media centers, Blu-ray players, and other consumer and professional electronics with DisplayPort outputs — to a single DisplayPort or HDMI monitor, USB keyboard, and USB mouse. All eight connected devices share the console outputs, reducing monitor count, desk clutter, and hardware overhead in multi-computer workspaces.

Port switching is accomplished via front-panel push buttons, RS-232 commands, keyboard hot keys, or the multi-lingual on-screen display (OSD).
