Product Description

The S-01S installs in a 900 Series module slot and draws its 24 V DC power from the host frame, keeping a calibrated reference tone available inside the rack at all times. Activating the module through a switch-closure contact sends a 1 kHz sine wave into the signal path, which is the standard reference frequency for setting levels and confirming distributed audio coverage. Technicians can use the tone to balance 70 V and 100 V constant-voltage speaker taps, verify amplifier output, and troubleshoot wiring faults during commissioning. The gain control adjusts the tone from off up to a 0 dB reference, giving precise control over the injected level. Connection is made through a removable 3-pole terminal block, which keeps wiring tidy and serviceable. Because it conforms to the 900 Series module format, the S-01S can share a frame with input and processing modules in the same system.
