The TOA B-01F line input module adds a transformer-balanced line input on a female XLR connector to the 900 Series modular platform. This 900 series line input module accepts balanced or unbalanced line-level sources such as mixer outputs, signal processors, and wireless microphone receivers. Transformer isolation keeps the connection quiet by minimizing ground-loop noise.
Product Description
The B-01F installs in a single 900 Series module slot and presents a transformer-balanced line input through a female XLR connector. It is designed for line-level program sources, including mixer outputs, outboard signal processors, and wireless microphone receivers, which are common in commercial and house-of-worship audio systems. The transformer-isolated input stage is the module's main strength: it minimizes ground-loop problems that arise when remote equipment connects to the rack, a frequent source of hum in larger installations. Female XLR termination makes the module convenient for sources that already use standard balanced cabling. Because the module conditions the signal before the amplifier stage, the incoming program stays clean over 70/100 V constant-voltage speaker lines. Sharing the standard 900 Series slot format, the B-01F lets integrators configure a single chassis with the exact mix of inputs a project requires. It suits new builds and serves as a spare for existing 900 Series racks.
