Overview
The TOA WM-5225-AM -M1 is a UHF handheld wireless microphone featuring an electret condenser capsule for accurate, natural voice reproduction. Part of the TOA 5000 Series UHF wireless system, it operates in the AM band (506–538 MHz) with 64 PLL-synthesized channel selections and handles up to 126 dB SPL, making it a dependable choice for presentations, live performance, and installed AV applications.
Description
The WM-5225-AM -M1 transmits at up to 50 mW ERP for reliable coverage across typical venue distances. Its slim, lightweight design includes an on/off switch that doubles as a rolling stopper to keep the microphone stationary on a lectern or flat surface when set down. Battery life is approximately 10 hours on a standard AA alkaline battery, or up to 13 hours with the optional WB-2000 Ni-MH rechargeable battery, which charges in the optional BC-5000 charger without removing it from the microphone.
