Product Overview
The TOA U-13R line input module adds an unbalanced stereo line input to any 900 Series mixer-amplifier or modular preamplifier. This 900 series line input module is built for connecting consumer-style sources such as media players, tuners, and streaming devices through RCA connectors. Onboard low-cut and high-cut filters let integrators shape the incoming signal for clean reproduction over a distributed audio system.
Product Description
The U-13R installs in a single 900 Series module slot and sums an unbalanced stereo source to feed the mono distribution chain typical of commercial paging and background music systems. Its RCA connectors make it convenient for consumer and prosumer playback gear that does not provide balanced outputs. The built-in low-cut filter helps remove rumble and handling noise, while the high-cut filter tames excess high-frequency content, together improving intelligibility and reducing strain on 70/100 V constant-voltage speaker lines. Because the module conditions the signal before the amplifier stage, background music sits cleanly behind paging and announcements. The U-13R fits the same slots as other 900 Series input modules, so integrators can configure a host chassis with the exact mix of microphone and line inputs a site requires. It serves equally well as a new input or as a spare for existing 900 Series racks.
