The TOA U-21S is a plug-in unbalanced line input module for TOA 900 Series mixer-amplifiers, enabling integration of consumer line-level sources such as tuners, CD players, and media players into a professional distributed audio system. An optional external 10 kΩ linear-taper potentiometer provides remote volume control at the listening position.
Product Description
Designed for the TOA 900 Series modular platform, the U-21S slides directly into any open module slot without tools. Its unbalanced input accepts standard consumer or semi-pro signal levels, and the high 220 kΩ input impedance ensures minimal loading on source equipment. The built-in buffer amplifier delivers a stable output to the amplifier's summing bus, covering the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio band within ±1.5 dB. The module draws just 27 mA from the chassis 24 VDC supply, making it suitable for fully loaded chassis without power budget concerns.
