Product Overview
The TOA U-11R is a plug-in unbalanced line input module with an RCA connector and mute-receive function, designed for TOA 900 Series mixer-amplifiers and compatible chassis. It brings a consumer line source such as a media player or streaming box into a commercial distributed-audio system through a familiar RCA jack. Mute-receive lets the channel duck under live paging so announcements always cut through the background music.
Product Description
The U-11R installs into an open module slot on a TOA 900 Series host and is powered by the 24 V DC supplied from the main frame. It is intended for adjacent line-level sources within roughly 15 feet of the host, where an unbalanced RCA connection is convenient. The single RCA pin jack makes it easy to connect common consumer audio gear without adapters. With a 220 kΩ input impedance, the module bridges typical line outputs without loading them down. The mute-receive function responds to the host mute bus so background music ducks automatically beneath live pages. A front gain control adjustable from -30 dB to 0 dB matches the source to microphones and other inputs in the same chassis. Frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz keeps program audio full-range across the system. For background-music feeds from RCA-equipped sources, the U-11R is the matched 900 Series input.
