Product Overview
The TOA U-01R is an unbalanced line input module with an RCA pin-jack connector for the 900 Series and other compatible TOA equipment. This RCA line input module lets AV integrators connect consumer-style sources such as media players, tuners, and mixers to a modular mixer-amplifier. The plug-in format adds a gain-adjustable input without replacing the host unit. It is a practical choice for background music and program audio sources that use RCA outputs.
Product Description
Many program sources in commercial audio still terminate in RCA connectors, and the U-01R provides a matching input for TOA's modular platform. It installs in a single 900 Series input slot and presents one unbalanced RCA pin jack for the source cable. 
A 220 kilohm input impedance suits line-level sources placed near the host unit, and TOA recommends source runs under about 15 feet for unbalanced connections. The onboard gain control trims level across a -30 to 0 dB range to match the source output. The module draws 24 V DC from the host main frame, so no external supply is needed. A 20 Hz to 20 kHz response with low distortion keeps background music and announcements clean. Its compact size and light weight make it easy to add during commissioning or a later expansion.
