Product Overview
The TOA CS-154U is a 15W UL Listed wide range paging horn speaker engineered for outdoor constant-voltage distributed audio systems. Its constant-directivity horn produces a 90° horizontal dispersion pattern that delivers consistent SPL and tonal balance at the coverage edge, reducing the over-coverage near the speaker that plagues conventional horns. The IP65-rated housing resists dust and high-pressure water jets, allowing installation in uncovered outdoor locations including stadiums, campuses, industrial yards, and transit facilities.
The CS-154U operates on 70V and 100V constant-voltage systems with a rotary multi-tap transformer, and it is UL Listed to applicable safety standards. Fire-resistant ABS resin construction and stainless steel mounting hardware are standard, meeting the demanding installation requirements of commercial and institutional projects.
Product Description
The CS-154U mounts via a swivel bracket that allows pan and tilt adjustment for optimized coverage aiming. Line-voltage taps are selectable by a rotary switch on the back of the transformer housing, providing flexibility to balance system impedance loads across a distributed 70V or 100V circuit. At 93 dB sensitivity (1W/1m, measured at ±45° off-axis at 3 kHz), the CS-154U offers efficient SPL output relative to amplifier power. The fire-resistant ABS resin body meets flammability requirements for public-assembly and institutional installations, and stainless hardware resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments.
