A push-to-talk switch with a lock function provides hands-free or keyed-on operation, and the balanced XLR output connects directly to any professional PA or conference system amplifier.
Product Description
The EM-380-AM's 500 mm gooseneck neck positions the cardioid capsule precisely at the speaker's mouth for consistent gain-before-feedback. The capsule's cardioid pattern rejects sound from the sides and rear, reducing pickup of adjacent speakers and room reflections. A blue LED indicator provides a clear visual cue that the mic is active, and the push-to-talk switch can be locked open for continuous hands-free use during presentations. Power is selectable between battery and 48V phantom, giving the EM-380-AM flexibility in installations where phantom power may not always be available. The balanced output at 750 Ω ensures low-noise transmission over long cable runs to an amplifier or mixer rack.
