Product Overview
The TOA U-03R is a plug-in auxiliary line input module with dual RCA jacks and passive stereo summing for TOA 900 Series mixer-amplifiers. It takes a stereo consumer source and sums it to the mono distributed-audio bus typical of commercial paging and background-music systems. Built-in high-cut and low-cut filters let integrators shape tone at the input.
Product Description
The U-03R accepts a stereo line source on dual RCA jacks and passively sums the two channels for a mono 70/100 V distribution system, which is how most commercial background-music feeds are handled. It installs into a TOA 900 Series host slot and is powered by 24 V DC from the main frame. The module is intended for adjacent line-level sources within roughly 15 feet, such as media players, tuners, and sound cards. Onboard high-cut and low-cut filters give the installer tone control at the input, useful for taming bright sources or thinning rumble before the signal reaches the amplifier. Input sensitivity is adjustable across a wide range so the source can be set to the system reference level. Frequency response runs 20 Hz to 20 kHz with low noise and distortion. For stereo consumer sources feeding a mono distributed system, the U-03R is the matched aux input, and its filters and summing make it a tidy single-module solution.
