Product Overview
The TOA SR-TP8 is a set of tilt joint brackets used at the bottom of stacked SR-C8L and SR-C8S column line array systems. By setting a specific downward angle on the lowermost speaker cabinet, the SR-TP8 allows installers to optimize vertical coverage and direct sound toward the listener plane in front of the array—an important adjustment for achieving even SPL distribution across seating or audience areas in venue installations.
Product Description
When SR-C8L or SR-C8S cabinets are stacked vertically, the natural propagation angle of the array points straight ahead. The SR-TP8 tilt joint introduces a calibrated downward angle at the lowest cabinet junction, angling the array's throw downward to cover the near field without sacrificing far-field coverage from the upper cabinets. The bracket set includes two tilt joints per package, fitting the standard connection points on SR-C Series cabinetry. Proper use of the SR-TP8 is essential for maximizing intelligibility and coverage uniformity in multipurpose rooms, houses of worship, and performance venues using the SR-C Series column system.
