Product Description

The SR-S4S extends TOA's Slim Line Array Type S platform with a clothoid curved profile that widens vertical coverage by steering energy toward the rear of a listening area. Eight direct-radiating 10 cm cone-type drivers share a horizontal axis with 24 centrally mounted 25 mm balanced-dome tweeters, producing a coherent linear sound source. The integral frequency-dividing network is fixed at a 3,500 Hz crossover and tuned for smooth on- and off-axis response. Horizontal coverage holds at a nominal 90 degrees above 2,000 Hz, while the vertical pattern can be shaped by stacking SR-S4S curved and SR-S4L straight modules together. The cabinet can run full-range from a single amplifier or be reconfigured internally for bi-amp operation. Two M4 screw terminals and two Neutrik NL4 connectors allow parallel pass-through to additional cabinets. With the optional MT-S0601 transformer installed, the speaker offers 70.7V taps at 7.5, 15, 30, and 60 watts for distributed installs. The MDF enclosure is finished in white paint with a punched-steel grille, and threaded inserts accept TOA flying, wall, tilt, and stand brackets.
