The N-SP80VS1 combines video, SIP audio, and door-control functions in a single vandal-resistant entry station. It registers with a common IP telephone system using SIPv1 and SIPv2, and it can also run peer-to-peer over a direct IP connection without a SIP server. Audio processing includes an acoustic echo canceller, voice activity detection, and a comfort-noise generator for natural hands-free conversation, while the camera supports H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG video.
