The TOA SC-651 is a 50W paging horn speaker built for high-output public address in outdoor and industrial environments. With an IP65 weather rating, a 109 dB SPL sensitivity, and an aluminum oval horn with a polyimide diaphragm, the SC-651 delivers powerful, intelligible announcements across loading docks, industrial yards, campus grounds, and sports facilities.
Product Description
Where a 30W horn isn't enough, the SC-651 steps up to 50W through a 16 Ω nominal impedance, making it appropriate for transformer-free direct-drive connections as well as constant-voltage systems with appropriate matching transformers. The IP65 rating ensures complete protection against dust ingress and directed water jets, sustaining performance through rain, hose-down cleaning, and coastal salt air. The polyimide diaphragm handles the thermal and mechanical demands of sustained 50W output without distortion or failure. Powder-coated brackets and stainless steel external hardware resist corrosion, and an integrated strain-relief cable with 600 mm of factory-attached lead simplifies field installation. Operating between −20 °C and +55 °C, the SC-651 covers the full range of outdoor climate conditions found across North America.
