The TOA NM-01-AM is a plug-in sound masking module for TOA 9000M2, M-9000M2, 900, 700, and BG-2000 Series modular mixer/amplifiers. It generates analog random pink noise to mask distracting conversations and maintain audio privacy in open offices, conference rooms, and healthcare environments — eliminating the need for a separate sound masking system.
Product Description
The NM-01-AM installs directly into an available module bay of its host amplifier, requiring no external enclosure or independent power supply. The module outputs 300 mV of band-limited pink noise and includes an RCA external processor loop so an optional equalizer can shape the masking spectrum to suit room acoustics. A dry-contact mute terminal (normally open; close to mute) enables integration with building automation, occupancy sensors, or scheduling systems. Up to two NM-01-AM modules may be installed per amplifier chassis, enabling control of two independent masking zones from a single unit.
