Product Description
The Q-HY-TB2 mounting channel provides a secure support member for installing TOA ceiling speakers in a drop-ceiling grid. Rather than resting a speaker's weight on the ceiling tile, the channel transfers the load to the structural T-bar rails, which keeps the installation safe and serviceable. This is a common requirement for commercial AV deployments that must meet local mechanical and life-safety codes. Integrators use the channel during rough-in so back cans and ceiling speakers sit flush and centered in the tile. The accessory is compatible with TOA ceiling speaker mounting hardware. It is a mounting component only and does not include a speaker or back can.
