Product Overview
The TOA M-21S is a balanced microphone preamplifier module for TOA 900 Series mixer-amplifiers. It accepts a low-impedance balanced mic signal via transformer coupling, provides switchable phantom power for condenser microphones, and offers high-pass and low-pass filter options to shape the signal before it reaches the main amplifier bus. An external 10 kΩ potentiometer enables remote input gain control at the mic location.
Product Description
The M-21S slots into any open module bay in a TOA 900 Series chassis and instantly adds a professional microphone input channel. The transformer-balanced input provides excellent common-mode noise rejection, critical in rack environments where the module shares space with switching power supplies and digital equipment. Selectable hi-cut and lo-cut filters allow the installer to roll off HVAC rumble or suppress high-frequency noise without external outboard gear. Phantom power support means the M-21S is ready for condenser microphones, boundary mics, or any other phantom-powered source right out of the box.
