The TOA T-12S is a 900 Series line input module with a dedicated music-on-hold (MOH) balanced output, designed for use with TOA 900 Series and AX-1000 amplifiers. It accepts an unbalanced line-level input (from AM/FM tuners, CD players, mixers, streaming devices, or satellite receivers) and provides an adjustable-level balanced transformer-isolated output for feeding MOH audio to telephone systems or other destinations — all while responding to the mainframe's mute bus for priority paging interruption.

Product Description

In on-hold telephone applications, the T-12S provides a continuous uninterrupted balanced output of the line input signal, even when the system's paging function mutes the main program output. The input sensitivity range (100–1000 mV) handles a wide range of line-level sources, and the output level (70–800 mV) is independently adjustable to match the input requirements of the receiving device. A 3–5 second muting time ensures smooth transitions when the mute bus activates. With less than 0.1% distortion and a flat 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, the T-12S maintains high fidelity throughout the signal chain.
