The TOA N-8050DS is an IP54-rated flush-mount or surface-mount door station for the N-8000 Series IP intercom system. It connects to an N-8000EX or N-8010EX IP intercom exchange via two-wire cable, providing hands-free full-duplex voice communication with a master station. Product Description

The N-8050DS uses a 160 kbps 2-wire echo-canceller transmission system with a maximum cable run of 1,500 m (using 0.65 mm cable, loop resistance 170 ohms). A 3.5 cm cone speaker (1W, 8 ohms) and omni-directional electret condenser microphone provide clear two-way audio in the 300 Hz to 7 kHz voice range. Power is supplied entirely by the exchange (48V DC) over the two-wire connection — no local power is needed. The contact output (open collector, max 30V DC / 50 mA) triggers electronic door locks or access control relays with programmable one-shot timing from 1 to 9 seconds. The stainless steel (SUS304) hairline finish plate with metal call button is rated IP54 for dust and water protection, and IK02 equivalent for impact resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor-facing entrances. Mounts in a 3-gang electrical box or the optional TOA YC-150 back box.
