Product Overview

The TOA BS-1030W is a 2-way compact loudspeaker designed for both indoor and outdoor commercial audio applications. A 4.72" woofer paired with a 1" dome tweeter and a 4 kHz passive crossover delivers a frequency range of 100 Hz–8 kHz, providing clean reproduction of speech paging and background music in small to mid-size zones. IPX4 splash protection enables installation in covered outdoor locations, poolside areas, retail entries, and any interior space subject to moisture exposure.

The BS-1030W operates on 70V and 100V constant-voltage lines with a multi-tap transformer offering 30W, 20W, 15W, 10W, and 5W settings, plus an 8 Ω direct bypass tap for low-impedance operation in shorter distributed runs. With 90 dB sensitivity and a compact 196 × 290 × 150 mm footprint, it suits applications where ceiling speaker installation is impractical and full-size wall speakers are too large.

The white-finish ABS enclosure mounts to walls or columns with included hardware and weighs 2.5 kg. The 4 kHz passive crossover is tuned to complement both drivers, reducing the phase and distortion artifacts that can compromise speech clarity in wide-range single-driver systems.
