The B-41S installs in a single 900 Series module slot and presents a balanced, transformer-isolated bridging input to the host amplifier. Transformer isolation is the key benefit here: it breaks ground loops that otherwise cause hum when remote equipment shares power with the rack, a frequent problem in larger buildings with long signal runs. The module also provides a voice-activated muting control output, or mute-send, allowing the input to duck background music when a priority page occurs. Bridging inputs are typically used to tap a line-level feed without loading down the source, which is useful when integrating with existing audio systems.
