The HY-BC580U AM is a sheet-metal back can designed specifically for the TOA PC-580RU AM and PC-580RVU AM in-ceiling speakers. Back cans enclose the rear of a ceiling speaker, which is frequently required in plenum air-handling spaces, and they help with consistent acoustic performance by controlling rear radiation. Using the matched enclosure simplifies inspection sign-off on commercial projects where fire and plenum codes apply. The can mounts with the speaker during rough-in and accepts the speaker's standard wiring entry. It fits the PC-580RU AM and PC-580RVU AM models specifically. This is an enclosure accessory only and does not include a speaker.
