The TOA U-43S aux module provides an unbalanced line-matching input with voice-activated muting for the 900 Series modular platform. This 900 series aux module terminates on a screw-terminal connector, making it well suited to permanent installations where source wiring is landed directly in the rack. Like other U-43 modules, it ducks background music automatically when a priority announcement is made.
Product Description
The U-43S installs in a single 900 Series module slot and accepts an unbalanced line source through a terminal-block connector, the preferred termination for hard-wired permanent installs. Its line-matching input stage sets levels appropriately for the host mixer-amplifier, while the mute-send control output provides voice-activated muting so background music attenuates during paging. This combination supports automatic priority behavior in retail, hospitality, and commercial meeting spaces without additional control hardware. The screw-terminal connector lets integrators land field wiring cleanly and securely, which is an advantage during rack assembly and later service. Because the module shares the slot format used across the 900 Series, a single chassis can carry the exact mix of microphone, line, and aux inputs a project requires.
